2017 Vice President: Leticya Gibb
Surf Coast Secondary College would like to sincerely thank the work of the 2016 School Council. Your contributions were highly valued by all in our community.
Included in the links below is detailed information about the education your child will receive at SCSC:
Lighting a FUSE for student engagement:
In Fuse students will learn all aspects of the traditional English, Maths,
Humanities and Science subject areas.
Too much information is never enough:
There is no denying the fact that teaching methods have been revolutionised by ever-increasing advancements in technology, with the internet,
iPads, and online learning material now standard in Surf Coast Secondary College
classrooms. Alongside this has come a greater need to focus on each student’s
individual needs and learning requirements.
Whole School Community Forum
Our Whole School Community Forum (WSCF) is a group of parents, carers and friends of current school students that meet on a regular basis to provide their support to the school and school community (formally known as the SCSC Parents & Friends Group).
Participation can include input in discussions around for example, school functions, school fundraising events and school community social activities.
The parents and friends group is an exciting way to meet other school families, to be involved in your child’s educational learning and to further connect with your school community.
Your contribution can help make a difference so please come along and be part of our dynamic Parents and Friends group. Everyone is welcome!
WSCF Scheduled Forum Dates:
Please note meetings are held from 5pm to 6pm in the College Library.
Next Meeting: 13th June 2017
